Dear Diary
I work on the 11th floor and heading back up from lunch some fatty was yelling to hold the elevator door open. Unfortunately she waddled fast enough to beat me trying to close the door. Of course she gets off on 2. They all get off on 2.
Same coming down. Elevator always has to stop to pick up the fatties on 2.

Got it.
Plus, There isn't a fatty in America that doesn't love an elevator. Even claustrophobic fatties enjoy not having to walk any steps if they don't have to.

You can override the elevator to bypass stopping on other levels.
Hold the floor number you want and the close door button, at the same time, until the doors completely shut.

Next time you are the elevator alone and it stops at 2 to pick them up, wait until they all load up on the elevator and THEN make your exit. But first take a deep breath like you are trying to take up less space and then "squeeze" thru and between them to exit. Once out, turn back and look at them while you let out the deep breath you took and maybe let out a "whew" like you are relieved to have escaped.

At least they are all consolidated to a single floor. Imagine if they were dispersed throughout the building.

Should've caught her off guard and told her your elevator was going down. Her slow train of thought due to being fat would've given you enough time to close the door
