Father/Son dumpster shooting of neighbor murder trial. Dad GUILTY. Son NOT GUILTY

This was big news at the time. Back in 2018 these fellas busted a cap in their neighbor after a stand off over a dumpster feud.

All of them were idiots, but I don’t know I I would convict the father/son. The dead guy should have attempted to deescalate. Whatever he grabbed caused the father/son to shoot. Not guilty.

It's hard to feel sorry for the victim. He egged them on multiple times. He had so many times he could have walked away, yet he kept threatening them. True definition of FAFO.
Legally, what's their outlook. The fatter man told Aaron not to approach him, or he would shoot. Aaron approached, and he shot. This sounds like it could potentially be stand your ground. However, while the 2 are fighting, the smaller fat man aimed his shot gun and blasted away. His actions definitely seem like murder to me.

Anyone with gun training in self defense situations are taught to ALWAYS deescalate first, get away from the threat if you can, and as a last resort, defend your life if you feel your life is in immediate danger (or the life of someone else).
Those two knuckleheads had every opportunity to walk away (they are not defending there own property) and wanted to play cops.
