And then they backtrack and apologize.
I'm not sure wtf a worship team is but they shouldn't apologize for fat shaming.

Who knew Jesus wasn't a fan of the fatties?

Probably a choir. Choirs aren't choirs without some beef in there imo.

To be fair - at least they are being consistent.
People shouldn't moan about willfully sinning with sex, drugs, violence while willfully being a glutton

I knew this would not be a Baptist church.
They'd never get anyone on the worship team if they banned fatties.

Christianity, like Buddhism and Ancient Greek philosophy, have elimination of desire as a central concept in practice. When desire leaves you, your left in peace with your surroundings.
Fat people are the anthesis of this

Same goes for people who drink too much.
Same goes for people who eat way too much but compensate with excessive exercise to stay thing.
Same goes for bulimics.

Religion has too many rules. No thank you.

Well, we're pretty sure he wasn't a black guy.

Gluttony is one of the seven sins and, by extension, so is being a fatass.

Awfully defensive over here. Someone must have had a sinful lunch today.

Sorry you're a fatty and don't have the willpower to do all that "excessive exercise to stay thin"

Uhhhh.... yes. Gluttony is consuming more than you should. If you get fat you are just adding sloth to the mix. If you work it off in a gym only because you want to look good & stop yourself from being fat, you are adding vanity to the mix, because at that point you aren't working out to be healthy.
I'm not throwing stones, just saying that gluttony is gluttony. You don't have to be fat to qualify.

Maybe you should. That would be considered exercise.

Pretty sure Friar Tuck never got this memo.

I get called defensive by a bunch of people who are being obviously defensive.
That one is called projecting.
