The system of marriage that our parents or grandparents knew is gone, and it’s not coming back. People are less likely to settle down, and women are less likely to settle for an average guy. Marriage has gone upscale, and become something of a luxury product, but the men that women do want—known as high value males—are in very short supply.

One key point to consider, he said, is that “women universally, in all cultures, have stronger mate preferences for men with status and resources. Since there’s been a ‘flip’ in education and higher professional degrees, with more and more women exceeding men, that means that there’s a smaller and smaller pool of men whom women consider eligible.” So, he adds, “women either wait and hope to find some man who exceeds threshold—at least as successful as they are, and preferably more so—or they opt out of the mating market; or they ’settle’ for men, and essentially ‘mate down.’ Women are typically very reluctant to do this.”

Of all the physical characteristics that matter to women, a man’s height appears to be the most important. This is true across cultures. The so-called “perfect” height is 6 feet. That’s bad news for the average American man, who stands at 5 foot 9 inches.

More bad news: American men are shrinking. In 1914, American men were the third-tallest group in the world. Almost a century later, they rank 37th. American men’s height peaked a quarter of a century ago. Poorer nutrition appears to be a reason why, though immigration from Latin America and Asia is probably a likelier answer.

Short guys are the future. Better lifting mechanics, take up less space, fewer calories, statistically they are more intelligent.

So basically, it's all men's fault.

Okay.

Young women today have been pumped full of decades worth of radical feminist dogma, and they think they're worth more than they are.

Maybe people are less co-dependent than what they used to be.

Years ago, a woman’s life was revolved around getting married. She had no income, education, or any other prospects other than her husband.

In turn, a husband had 100% control over all dynamics of the relationship.

Now, women have been granted the most freedom and success they’ve ever had in the US.

They can pick and divorce whenever they so please and still be financially stable.

This has changed the dynamic of the mating game, although, I agree that dating apps have probably made standards a bit unrealistic.

Maybe in the future, this will even itself out.

With divorce rates being sky high and other things accompanying this, maybe men are also more hesitant to get hitched. We have no biological clock like females do, so the only thing making us hurry are societal norms.

There’s also the decline of religious influence on our populace, which dictated many things in the past.

Women aren’t getting married because they can get better government assistance if they are single.

They must've polled 25 year old girls.

1. There's no woman looking to get married quicker than one who is a few months away from her 30th birthday.

2. There's no woman more horny than one who is in her early to mid 40's and about to hit menopause and "the wall"

Yeah, and I want a smart woman with big tits who is independently wealthy.

Since that isnt realistic, I decided smarts and tits + tons of student debt was good.

These women demanding money, looks, and 6+ foot will eventually decide companionship is more important or end up profoundly unhappy.

Except by most objective standards they aren't. Educational attainment does not always track with financial success, especial when those degrees are in high-density and generally poorly paying fields like elementary education, biology, marketing, etc. Women have a vastly over-inflated sense of self-worth, making $35k/year as a "marketing director" for a small business and thinking any guy making less than $400k/year is below her standards...

We've spent decades now watching skyrocketing divorce rates. There have even been articles like this written about it.

To quote an old friend of mine, "Why get married when you've just gotta get divorced?"

Not that I necessarily agreed with him, but marriage isn't always the best path as it has been portrayed to be, especially when you involve the government in that decision and relationship.

If I could buy most American women for what they are really worth and sell them for what they think they are worth I would make Bill Gates my butler.
