Fast Lane vs Slow Lane

I was in a 55 mph zone driving home from work. I usually do 70 since there's hardly s police presence in the area. The only people thatre driving on the roads are fishermen and people working at the plants. So everyone does atleast 70.
So I was in the slow lane when I approached a jeep and a Mercedes car. The Jeep wasn't your "I actually like the outdoors" type jeep. It was "I got a new jeep and got it all black with blacks rims as a part of my mid life crisis type jeep.
So I pulled into the fast lane. At this point I already slowed down to 55 since they were riding side by side. With absolutely no other cars in sight. So I wasn't riding close. I kept my distance. But I made it known that I wanted to pass them. So they continued riding side by side for about half a mile before the jeep slowed up and gave me enough room to pass. So I started to, then the jackass sped up and blocked me. Meanwhile, the Mercedes is now doing 50 in a 55 (in the fast lane still). So at this point I was a little agitated. And once again, he slowed down just enough to barely give me enough room to pass them. So the second I went to switch lanes, he sped up again. So I look over there to pull a
and I see this middle aged man with his phone out just videoing me driving. And he was slowing down to get my plate I presume. Eventually I reached the street I was turning on to. And they kept driving. I don't know what would come out of this. I wasn't speeding and I wasn't following close to the Mercedes.
Has something similar happened to any of you? Was I in the wrong in any way, shape or form?
And no. I wasn't on my phone. I had my eyes on the road up until he pulled on the side of me. If anything, MAYBE I was tailgating. But come on. Get the hell out of the fast lane if you're not passing. It's really not that hard of a concept. Even if you don't have the decency, maybe someone switching lanes to get behind you should make you say "Hmm. Maybe they're trying to get around me"

Getting stuck between two assholes doing the exact same speed in both lanes with no other cars around is infuriating.

Only time I have ever pulled that move, it was to record some jackass in a commercial vehicle to send to their company. Dude was speeding and weaving all overall the place uncontrollably like he was drunk.
I have seen people record me for speeding and passing on the inside lanes because they want to pretend like the cops give a damn if they show them some shitty cell phone video.
I actually had one lady start video taping me in my company car because she couldn't speed up and cut me off. I was in a long line of bumper to bumper traffic. Wasn't keeping space, she was just an impatient soccer mom.
I have seen people record me for speeding and passing on the inside lanes because they want to pretend like the cops give a damn if they show them some shitty cell phone video.

I wouldn't fault all BR drivers. They drive with a frustration over road layouts and constant road construction.

I've stopped even trying to give the slow left lane drivers a chance to get over so I can pass.
Was behind a teenager driving in the left lane. (Was too much traffic to safely pass on the right.) I could see her on her cell phone. When she was texting, she slowed down by at least 10MPH. Then she would speed up keeping up with traffic. Then same thing, she would started typing and slow down 10+MPH.

I had two ladies on a two lane road go 40 in a 55. I followed them but never too closely b/c I wasn't in a rush either, but was aggravated at how slow they were going. When I got the chance to pass them, I noticed I was doing 60 and they were still on the side of me.
Instant rage.
sped up and got in front of them and got to a red light about a half a mile later. Look in the mirror and they are both yelling and flicking me off.
Put my 10 year old truck, that I dont' care about b/c it's my 3rd vehicle, in reverse and jammed my hitch straight into her car and drove off. I'm not overly proud of that moment, b/c it was stupid and immature, but I don't really regret it. Wouldn't do it again. i'd like to think I changed those two morons and taught them a lesson and may have prevented a future accident they may have caused.
I do not like when someone threatens my life by being a dumbass driver and speeding up just b/c you don't like being passed for some stupid reason.
