When did this?

Turn into this?

Google says it's the same company.

A new one just opened in Shreveport recently.

I pass the one on Airline every day and knew they remodeled/rebranded it but didn't realize it was actually "Texas Chicken" now.

That place never had anybody there and they remodeled so I figured they might get some business, but a month later the new Southern Classic got built a block away. That location is bound to go out of business pretty soon.

It's probably been 10 years since I've had Church's. Last time I went there the leg I got was 4x times the size of a normal chicken leg. Never went back.

More like 20 for me.

I said they built it, but ours was a remodel of an old Church's also. It looks like this...

I just drove by it yesterday and was like...

Church's:
1. Yuge pieces of chicken
2. Fried okra
3. Best biscuits in the game
4. Usually in very, very bad area.

I don't think I've ever been to Church's. Probably only ate KFC a couple of times. Just never felt the need to try it. Popeye's is the GOAT!

This is what I like about Church's. At Popeyes it seems that you get pigeon size pieces and at Church's you get turkey size pieces. Why would you not like the big pieces?

That has been changed to a seafood place called Hooks for a while.

No. Product went to shite years ago when they got rid of the onion rings and the biscuits became the dry, flavorless, mass-produced pieces of filthy shite they serve now. Then BK bought them and it is abysmal. Low-grade dog food.
