I researched the hell out of the GMC/Chevy, Ford and Ram full-sized trucks. I came to the conclusion that they are all solid trucks. It's a matter of choice on equipment, your choice of which looks best, etc.
I went w/the '15 GMC Sierra SLT and haven't looked back. Got $11k off sticker and couldn't be happier w/quality, drive, power, design... You name it. But I truly believe I could have gotten a Ford or Ram and been equally happy.
Go with your gut.

They have been offering 20% off certain '16 GMC Sierra units. I honestly prefer the look of the '15s front end better, but 20% off is nice. The markup on trucks must be comparable to that of jewelry!

most of the time you can get an XLT for the same price of an XL or STX. Made fun of a friend for spending 33k on an STX and could have gotten a pretty loaded XLT for a bit cheaper

This is the OT. They are brainwashed Ford. Of those 2 choices, I'd go GMC. But go check out Ram also.

I've tested all the new trucks. Best ride by far was the dodge.....but not the best looking or cheapest. Depends what the deciding factor is for you
