F35 FOUND: Debris field located near Williamsburg County in search for missing F-35 fighter jet, officials confirm.

WILLIAMSBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD)- Officials with Joint Base Charleston confirmed that debris from a F-35 fighter jet that went missing Sunday has been located near Williamsburg County.

The search began Sunday after a pilot was found on South Kenwood Drive in North Charleston after safely ejecting from the passing plane.

Joint Base Charleston said the incident involved “mishap” involving an F-35B Lightning II jet from Marine Fighter Attack Training Squadron (VMFAT) 501 with the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing. George

If you punch out and the plane isn’t in your immediate vicinity when you land, you may be a shitty pilot who punched out too early

How the frick does the military lose a pilot?

There is no reason that a pilot should eject and the exact location not be known
