EX's BFF still brings her dog to play with my dog; is this a signal?

The EX GF of 11yrs moved out a few months back, but her friend still brings her dog over randomly to play with My Nymeria. She is nearly 1.333 repeating of course, decades younger.
Sometimes she will leave him, I then take them on adventures. We don't chat too much, a few words.
Is this some type of signal or am I just a babysitter?
Please advise, serious responses.
