Explain Friends and Family Event at Ford

Cooking dinner last night with the TV on in the background, did I hear them say that the prices on their Ford vehicles during this event were the lowest you can get and there was not point in trying to negotiate any further?

Or did I hear that wrong?

It's a bullshite holiday with no historic backing. Most people don't celebrate it and my company isn't getting off work. It's nonsense, don't buy into it.
