I get your point, but they've been conditioned to think that's the equivalent of a Lottery Ticket. "HE GOT ME $750 THOUSAND DOLLARS!!"

No what he did, was make his firm $250k, footed the bill for your fake medical claims that likely added up to 100k+, then footed the bill for those 8 months that you didnt go to work because you were "injured" and once it was allllll said and done, they wrote you a check for $65k and you'll be broke a year because you're going to buy Jewelry and Rims.

that's stupid.

That's like saying we should be angry with the people smoking dope more than big drug dealer.
We can think both of them are pieces of shite, but you have to stop the main cause of the issue.

Don't say shite from now on about our Texicans building our state and our border. Abbott doesnt...

Generally, 99% of this site doesn't. The Hispanic community gets nothing but praise on here. A couple of chronically online posters that read that get their news from fake news Facebook pages don't represent a state of over 4 million people.

These people are still going to sue and get paid. You can't just straight up ban suing people that hurt you.

That's always the big rub, and why "frivolous" becomes such a buzzword. I don't see how a case with clear liability can be "frivolous".

That's why loser pays is such a silly response to fixing the system. That will just mean Gordon gets the awards AND attorney's fees. How will that lower costs to consumer or insurance companies?

The question is how to limit the value of these cases and ultimately that comes down to how juries rule.

So over a grand for each person in the state. Or probably five grand for everyone pulling the wagon and not weighing it down.

If their numbers are correct, we are at a huge disadvantage economically b/c of this.

That statement is hilarious.

The entire legal system is perverted beyond its original designs, ISO.

Louisiana is just an example of how broken it is.

The question always remains: how do you fix it?

Burn the entire system to the ground.

The question for almost all of our problems is “how do you fix it”.

With the current social and political structure we have, they cannot be fixed.

The ONLY way to fix any of the issues within our society is to burn it down and start over with more localized control.

So, the honest answer is, you cannot fix it. You lawyers have screwed it up beyond fixing.
