I am asking if you believe the statement, which was just made to me by a physician. Google it.

Yes. Low income and less educated families produce the most children.

My mom works NICU in BR. As disgusting as this stat is, what's even worse is the stories she tells me about the fathers having to be police escorted out due to spousal abuse in the fricking hospital room.

There's a deep place in hell for people like that.

They've made them more difficult to get but still plenty of scrips out there.

They have started to crack down on it so it's the main reason heroin use has spiked.

Overdose is now the leading cause of death for American under the age of 50, beating out disease, auto crashes and gun violence.

Hydrocodone metabolism in the liver is about 10% methadone

Oxycodone is about 15%

Heroin is 100%

When I was in treatment around a year ago, heroin was the main drug of choice for about 100ish people that came and went throughout the program. I can only recall one person that didn't have his addiction begin with painkillers

A good friend of mine recently got out of rehab in marksville. He was living in Tampa but the average wait time to get into a treatment facility was about three weeks so he had to come back to LA. Pretty crazy especially considering the amount of treatment centers in Florida

Overdosing is now the leading cause of death in people under 50 so it's not hard to believe.
