Don't think I ever have.
Went to high school with someone that is now at Angola for double homicide. Knew a guy that grew up a few houses down who was recently arrested for murder, but he had long since moved away.

I have a cousin that was a junkie in the 80s. Killed a man while robbing him. Served about 10 years. I saw him at a bar a couple of years ago and couldn't get away fast enough. He was probably high so he kept talking and it took me a minute to escape.

I'm from a little community called Lismore in North central Louisiana. I had one cousin murdered by her dad. I had another cousin murdered by his best friend. People like to remember the good old days. It was a violent time back then. Jennifer was a beautiful woman. She was holding her two kids when she was shot in the back of the head.
