First guy busted using radios and earphones to fake like the Holy Ghost was giving him info on people. Stuff Fletch was making fun of. Add him to the long list of people making Christians look bad. I'm reading Bonhoeffer right now. Could've been written today

Dammit. Peter Popoff would've been the best porn name for the thread from last night.

He had an ad run during last night's Better Call Saul season premiere. At first I thought it was part of the show. Then I was was wondering if he spent big bucks for it or if it was sold locally through Ruston Suddenlink cable.

He's sending out free packets of miracle spring water.

I didn't see it and was confused when yall mentioned it on the thread. I did skip through some of the commercials though.

The underrated Steve Martin movie Leap of Faith is based on Peter Popoff and his scams.

As opposed to all the televangelists and prosperity gospel preachers and Swaggarts and Rizzos?

If you have to con people into giving your church money you're a con artist.

Ought to revoke their tax-free status.

I have miracle spring water too. Drink it straight from the faucet when I get up at night.

Must be why my boxers are so holy.

Although I'm Catholic, I have a lot of respect for Bonhoeffer. "The Cost of Discipleship" was brilliant.

See these commercials playing on the TVs in the gym every morning

Notice how everyone in the commercials giving testimony about how they got a magical check in the mail for $20,000 or had their entire mortgage paid off are black.

As a Christian I despise false preachers like this. And I have gotten into arguments with other Christians before who think that this guy and others like Benny Hinn are legit.

I remember when Orel Roberts threatened his church members and said if they didn't send him 9 million dollars God was going to call him home

Swaggart has sent several hundred thousand bibles to third world countries.

Dino Rizzo opened up a church in Swaziland and HPC does outreaches in the BR community and missions in third world countries.

What are you doing with your life cool guy?
