if you go work at a 3 letter organization within the DOD you will most likely start with shift work, but still good pay. try going to school for homeland security or cyber and apply for the NSA if you are wanting to help put warheads on foreheads

I volunteer at an annual local "special Olympics" event and it opens my eyes every time I do it.

Would strongly recommend it to anyone.

Nope. To fight these meaningless wars in the septic tank of planet earth does nothing for me. If there was a true cause maybe it would be different. But I could care less of the decendents of Ishmael.

I did years ago, but the way this country has gone, and where it is headed, Not at all. There is no way I would serve this country other than via all the taxes I pay to help fund it. It's a crap country now.

That's such BS. Yea, maybe if you spend all your time on TD or think like half the people on here. People on here go look for articles of the dumbest crap (SJWs, BLM, etc.) and act like the U.S. is going to shite when in actuality that's far from the truth.

It may not be the country it was 20 years ago, or heck, even 10 years ago but that's not just here, that's almost the whole world now.

Nope. I don't agree with our military actions in the Middle East, therefore I would never risk my life over there. Paying taxes is what I do, and would keep that if I could.

The navy used your test results to place you,in the spot where they felt that you could contribute the most.

They need Cooks,electricians,mechanics/machinists,flight deck guys, supply people etc.

If everybody was a Seal, the whole navy would starve,be broke down, and run out of fuel.

You,served and did your part.

You have too much faith in the military personnel system.

No. Maybe for my local community though. I'm not into jingoistic patriotism and nationalism.

Maybe I do, I haven't been on active duty since 1983. It used to seem to me, that placement was pretty spot on,of course, back then, there weren't the same distractions as now.

You sound like an intelligent fricker surely McDonalds is hiring that way you can pay your fair share of taxes like most patriots. In the rear with the gear navy boy or maybe you just like it in the rear.
