Ever been made to wear cloppers?

Cloppers are a piece of PPE used to protect your toes from being crushed. The well deserved name was given to them because you sound like a horse on pavement when walking around in them. Reminds me of the Mighty Python scene where coconuts are used to make it sound like they have horses.
I didn't pack my steel toes this week so I've got the cloppers. Pretty damn embarrassing.

I once wore some vs. going back to my truck and getting my boots since I only needed them in one area I was going into. You don't have to worry about walking up on someone that's for sure. After a while, I tried to start getting a rhythm to the stride.

These beauties are full on Birkenstock shoes, not the watered down Footprints brand sold in the US. They have a full cork bed just like the sandals, toe ridge and all. Pretty much impossible to find.
