Is it my responsibility to pay for storm related repairs?

I'm pretty sure it was struck by lightening yesterday.

Nope call them, they are usually out to fix it pretty quickly.

Are you talking about a street light?

When they find out you shot it with a .22, you'll do jail time.

It's right next to the north side of my house and nowhere near a street.

Do you pay a monthly bill for it? My neighbor pays $12 a month for his. I dont know who is resposible if it gets damaged though.

Entergy maintains it if it has no meter on it.

Call them to report its out.

What purpose does it serve?

If it's to illuminate their equipment it is definitely on them. I've just never heard a service light (if that's what we're talking about) called a nightlight before.

I'm pretty sure we're billed for it but not sure about how much.

I'll have to dig out an old bill

I've heard it called a service light, a security light and a night light.

It illuminates the NE corner of my house, patio and shed is the only purpose I see that it serves.

On my street we have lights that face the road and a few lights that face peoples house that the homeowners pay monthly for.
