I feel like I ask this question every year, but does anyone know when we can start setting up on N. Carrollton?

Trying to drop stuff and go drink, ya feel me.

Someone spray painted the area where my friends normally set up. They set up anyway and are camping out waiting to see if the people show up and bitch.

I would totally disregard the spray paint, you have to be at the spot to hold it.

This doesn't count, right? Don't you need an actual human? This isn't reservations at August, Sweet Root or whatever.

There were already people in tents YESTERDAY on Orleans Ave.

You might be too late already.

Even the actual human part doesn't work.

Besides the space that your physical body takes up you have absolutely no claim to any spot.

I just blows my mind how people go full retard come mardi gras time.

I lived in LA from 1984-2014. Did NOLA Mardi Gras once. I don't care about parades, too many people, etc. I love to party, not my scene.

I drove down Carrollton at 2:00 this afternoon (Thursday) and there were already people setting up. There were enough people on Orleans Avenue for a small parade to pass. I ride in Endymion and I am happy to see this kind of enthusiasm.
