Taking a pass on actively participating in Carnival this year.
Several organizations have received my place-holding fees.
Potentially I’m debating never going back. I figured out the main reason I was staying was in case any of my progeny wish eventually to participate, and now I realize that they will be able join on their own merits.
So far they’ve not shown much inclination to do so.
The thrill is pretty much gone por moi.

But there is also a good bit of business that gets done there through connections, and a few true friends that I would not have met otherwise.
To summarize, outsiders don’t precisely know what they can’t know if they’ve never experienced participating in Carnival organizations.
There’s a slight parallel to Greek life in college.

As someone who goes every year to the Ball in the Dome, I still haven't booked flights or a hotel because I still in the back of my mind think Latoya is going to F everything up again.
