I am unsure that is totally correct. We are wired to gravitate toward the familiar and that is typically those we look like but if we are raised with a group different than we are, the emphasis shifts toward the "race" we are familiar with.
It's the old nature vs nurture argument, though I think the argument is spurious. Ultimately, it is nature and nurture that dictates our predispositions as adults. And self awareness and determination that allows us to overcome those we deem as counterproductive.

If it is an elite school, they shouldn't have a hard time getting into another one somewhere else next year (other than a mass exodus from the racist school). My sister was able to get into probably the best school in Dallas after Katrina. They only accepted like 5 girls from here since the semester had already started, and they all came from very good schools here with letters of recommendation. It can be done, but not if you're sitting back waiting for it to happen.
I mean, these kids are going to school all day being told they are pieces of trash and there isn't anything they can do about it. I guess that elite school never consulted a child psychologist before implementing these classes

Black kids are born more racist than white kids. Black parents teach their kids that the white man is at fault for their life style not their parents.
White kids learn racism from hearing their parents bitch about working all the time to support the lazy lower privileged government assisted class. They see it first hand.

It could take years for the affected students to transfer.
Some parents register their kids for pre-enrollment before they are ever born. There are long waiting lists for those truly elite schools.
