My Echo trimmer runs like a beast
I weed eat and edge curbs and sidewalks on my corner lot with it. I have a stick edger that sits. I'm not about to fool with any adjustment just quite yet

The plug is called a Welch plug, it's on alot of carbs and throttle bodies

Get a nice shiny new one gallon gas can. Fill it up with ethanol free gas. Add Sta-Bil fuel additive. This will eliminate most of your hard starting and poor running issues.

Of course you need to do this BEFORE you start having trouble.

it's actually not. It's a small threaded plastic plug.
Here's a pretty good illustrational video on how to remove the plug then subsequently tune your carb .

Sooner or later you will have to replace the grommet on the gas tank. That is the rubber gasket thing that the fuel lines fit into that go into the gas tank. It is a pain in the arse to fit in. First you fit the grommet in the gas tank. Then you put/slip an allen wrench inside the gas tube and force the tube into the grommet holes. Put a little gas on the side of the tube so it can slip easily into the grommet holes. This is a tried and true method that I came up with after a couple of hours trying.

nahh. It's very easy to change out. If you do have to just change it out with all of the lines. Takes 3 minutes tops.

or for $10
