And it wasn't complete without this bitch throwing in some fake tears because she was so "offended and hurt" at the "disjustice" being served to the black community.

Anybody who watched the WAFB live feed can tell you it was a show for idiots to show off their lack of intelligence. No wonder the school system is a disaster, we are too busy worrying about fricking names.

Changing the name will make them all honor students.

I refuse to watch this or pay any more attention to this type of shite than what's necessary. If the media and colleges would have not given this dumb shite attention initially, it wouldn't even be an issue right now. Gotta thank the guilty whites and SJWs for this.

Except you seem to be worried that they might change the name.

None of the board members actually suggested names. The one I posted above tried so hard to fake cry, and then when it became obvious she just couldn't pull it off, slapped the microphone away and acted disgusted. It was essentially how you'd expect an organization as inept as the school board to operate.

It's already changed. It's about coming up with a new one.

Yeah. And ? It's 2016 man. Time to replace all our existing principles, traditions, ideals and institutions with something that reflects our new better Correct Thought. My daughter, a Junior at BRMHS, had an assignment in history class on "white privilege" this year. Can't you just feel the country moving FORWARD !

I am happy they are discussing this in a meeting instead of organizing a march.

I am disappoint they are not talking about pupil retention and graduation rates in EBR.

I bet no one cares about the 100s of alumni that attended Lee High School and cherish that name and their school. They don't count.

Damn, it's sad how awful the school system is here. I mean, sure, Baton Rouge isn't alone, others in the state, the country, but frick, I don't see any hope for EBR. This shite has been going for 40+ years.

When will they realize Hood, Pickett, Stuart, and Lee were all Confederate Generals and demand the street names be changed.

This is the OT and I am sure I will be called a liar but, I have a good friend who's grandmother has taught in the EBR system for thirty years. Over the last six or seven years, it has become impossible to teach. She has told us stories about kids calling her names, taking her things and general over the top disrespect well beyond young kids pushing boundaries. She has approached her principals(each one black) for help and was blamed for their actions each time. Last year, the assistant principal sat her class room for a review. He whispered to a black female student, "let's see if I can get this old white bitch fired." The only reason she was made aware of this is because the student was an excellent and honorable student(one of few) who approached her and the principal about it. The principal and school board swept it under the rug when she contacted her Union and that POS still holds his position.

This is a lost cause and I say let them have it.
