Playing Devils advocate but plenty of places don't have doormen. Hell when I went back to NO a couple of weeks ago, I went to the beer garden. No one checking IDs or a bouncer.

And most clubs aren't doing pat-downs as people walk in. If a club is doing pat downs it is usually sketchy. That may change now.
