I find it quite enjoyable. Anyone else feel the same? Mojo just wasn't doing it for me anymore.

Nothing like a shower beer after a long, hard graveyard shift.

Made the mistake one time of drinking Bacardi 151 after only having a 2 sausage biscuits for breakfast. fricked my whole friday up. Was miserable the entire day.

Had a family member who live up in Michigan and worked night shift for 20 years at a steel mill. He said the shift would get off and hit the bars at 8 am like it was a Friday night.

I very much enjoy it. Get home, let the dogs out, turn the tv on in the outdoor kitchen. Watch some investigation discovery or nfl am. Usually drink 3 or 4 beers and work on any little small chores during commercials (take gargabe out, pickup outside or around the house). Its the only time thats its just me up and around the house. And I get more sleep on nights than days, so staying up those couple hours doesnt hurt.

On night shift now this seems like a good idea.

Not really if you have to go back the next night. You will be waking up taking a piss every hour.

But yes, a couple cold ones are good off dogs.

I worked nights for a couple years. Our group would get off at 7 am and head to taco cabana and drink beer. We go a lot of strange looks from people in there eating breakfast on there way to work.

Can't do my liquor in this scenario. But a few beers are fun. When working oil patch you get in places where everyone goes get a few at 7 am. Get off at 6 go grab a shower and hit the bar

You can't drink all day if you don't start in the morning.

I worked the rigs from three to midnight
On the Corpus christi Bay
I'd get off and drink til daylight
Sleep the morning away
I had a plan to take my wages
And leave the rigs behind for good
But that life it is contagious
And it gets down in your blood
