Stop at Hobby Lobby on the way in. Grab some buttons and some safety pins. You should be able to pin them on with little to no show.

If you have an hour or less of time to work with, get a needle and thread and buttons from store and figure it out.

I don't have an hour, that's the issue. With an hour, I could easily take care of it. But I'm not even sure I'll have time to stop. My GPS says I'll get there at 6:02, currently.
