Of all the annoying things that people do in gyms, getting asked for a spot is what pisses you off the most. Well frick you. How about that? What if someone is a few months removed from shoulder surgery and is just getting back into it? What if youre feeling good that day and want to try to get an extra few reps? Have fun lifting on smith machines all the time douchebag

Leave 6 45 lb plates on the leg press(on each side) and then not even attempt to take them off and instead just watches the poor woman that wants to use the machine next struggle to remove all those plates.
You workout at Lifetime on Mayo Blvd. too? Seriously, no one puts away their weights anymore.

The touch-and-go method can be beneficial to hypertrophy training, but yes, most individuals use improper form while bench pressing.
However, nearly all gym-going individuals are guilty of improper form in some capacity or another.

It gets annoying when there are a couple 5-man groups on the olympic racks.
You might work out at the same gym I do...

I noticed that such behavior has become more and more customary. It's fine when the place is relatively empty or if you're doing mostly free weights or bodyweight movements, but unfortunately that's usually not the case.

telling kids to not run...it is a gym dipshit...let the kids run....

people texting on their phones constantly and not looking up when they actually almost walk into you
Seriously, it isn't a lifeline, put it down and focus on what you are there for.

The assholes who refuse to dry off in the shower area then drip dry in the locker room and leave a puddle of water that just dripped off their balls for others to step in while changing

Add to it the dipshits that show up with a one gallon jug of some pastel colored fluid and guzzle it after each set.
We get it. Your serious about lifting. You have to seek a higher, more advanced form of hydration ( and lots of it) to maintain your level of fitness.
Just workout and take the occasional water break guy. No one is buying your schtick.

The 637 gym mirror selfies that people take and are littering my Instagram feed really piss me off

I get the people that get frustrated about phones if the person is having a causal conversation or really being inconsiderate by holding up a piece of equipment to handle their business. I do however understand people like myself that will remove myself and handle my business else where. I won't talk to people if it's personal because it can wait but when you deal with a lot of the stuff I do it is very time sensitive and sometimes it cannot wait. I do try to talk quietly and be considerate and move from whatever I was using to not hold anyone up. If someone has a problem with that then frick them because most likely they have no responsibilities what so ever in life or business.

or only half repping that shite and then getting up acting all macho.

So is half reping something new? I see lots of people doing it. What's the point?

Anywhere there is a bench this happens.

Douching would probably be the most correct answer to the OP. I'm sure it happens.
