Don't take interstates. Just stop. Use state highways.

Interstates block up so easily because of limited access. State roads have much more room to change direction, route or torn around.

If you haven't left yet. 190, 90, 61 those are the roads you take. Avoid intestate.

It was smooth earlier to Baton Rouge. But do you have an alternative that could help?

The problem is you got to get to them… the NOLA south shore area is like an island with few ways in and out

Solid advice. You don't want your heirs fighting over your stuff.

Our new federal handout request after this one is over needs to be a several hundred miles of virgin interstate highways.

I-55N between Hammond and Kentwood is more slammed than I’ve ever seen it.

They also go through small towns with red lights (and sometimes stop signs) that slow things down.

The fact is, when thousands of people all decide to go one direction at once, no one road can move everyone as quickly as when you have a normal traffic load.

I’m not getting off the freeway in Baton Rouge for fear of getting shot.

61 was all clear north of 110 an hour ago. Not sure why you wouldn’t consider it one of the better options out of BR, if you can by pass airline/190 and 110.

If you are on the Northshore take Hwy 25 north to Mississippi where 25 turns into Ms Hwy 27. You can take 27 to Tylertown and then go west on Hwy 98 to McComb. If you like you can stay on Hwy 27 and it will take you to Crystal Springs, Ms.
