Chihuahua

My aunt had one that would grab hold of your pant leg and wouldn't let go no matter how much you kicked your leg back and forth.

and fearless.

the guy up the street from me has a dachsund and another big arse brown dog. the dachsund will chase you down the street while the big dog just barks and keeps his distance.

I'm sure it can't be easy on the wallet. Mine is allergic to carrots. So, I have to find dog food that doesn't have carrots in it. Not as easy as it would seem. And because she had skin problems, decided to try a grain free diet.

She eats 3 cups a day and we go through a 30 lb. bag about once a month.

I can only imagine what a Mastiff's owner would have to do.

Dogs with the strongest bite:
American Pitbull. Bite Force – 235 PSI.
German Shepherd. Bite Force – 238 PSI.
American Bull Dog. Bite Force – 305 PSI.
African Wild Dog. Bite Force – 317 PSI.
Rottweiler. Bite Force – 328 PSI.
English Mastiff. Bite Force – 556 PSI.
Doberman. Bite Force – 600 PSI.
Kangal- Dog With Strongest Bite. Bite Force – 743 PSI.

Kind of strange that the African Wild Dog is on the list given that all the others are domesticated breeds, which were bred from Gray Wolves. African Wild dogs aren't even in the Canis genus.

They were bred to get weasels in undergound holes. They are pretty fearless and love to dig. Probably the reason I guess they are so long.

Mine is half Doberman, half lab and I can confirm that his jaw is mind-blowingly strong. When he chews muscles on top of his head flex.

"But don't pit bull's have locking jaws!?" Lol. That myth has been perpetuated for so long now it's destroyed a great breed.

I'm surprised neither the Presa Canario or Dogo Argentino made the list. I can definitely see the Kangal being the strongest, those Afghan frickers don't play.

I was at the dog park by you the other day and my girl witnessed seeing her first pencil eraser. Old boy was going to town. On another boy.

And by the way, that's a beautiful looking dog. How is his coat?
