Can anyone help me out with what kind of terrier this is?

Also I read they are a bit harder to train. Any tips? Thanks!

Awesome for you. It's probably got a little beagle in him as well. I'd imagine Harpo to be a wonderful and playful dog.
BTW, I'm fostering a dog that looks like one of the others listed at the bottom of that website.

Sometimes it is easier if you have two dogs. It is not twice as hard, they are social beings and they are more chill if they have a companion. But either way congrats!!! That is a cool looking dog.

BTW, what do you mean by training? Potty training? All puppies are a little different about this. Just crate train them and give yourself a few months.
For this reason, many times its good to adopt an older dog who already is potty trained.

If it is a jack they can be a little stubborn but they are smart and very athletic. Tend to be in the hyper side but will take on the personality of the owner. Be ready to play and exercise with them a lot. Also be careful of jacks around small children. They have a tendency to snap if startled. I've had two and loved them both.
