We kennel when we go out of town, for two beagles. It's worth the peace of mind. They are escape artists, and it's not a good neighborhood for roaming beagles.
$15/day each, would be cheaper if one didn't have a certain issue.
And that's 24 hours and feeding. And walks, and a play yard. Personal attention. Inside of a large animal hospital where they can help your dog if he/she gets attacked or chokes or otherwise needs medical help.
Seems like $15 a day for just 8 hours where they basically just have to keep it alive until you pick it up seems kind of high.
See if you can talk them down.

we just leave our two in the kitchen, hard floor all day when we are at work...no issues, occasionally the westie will take a pee on the floor if we aren't home in time, but otherwise why would you pay, I don't get it? (we've left the lab in the house for 10+ hours by itself and it's champed it out without peeing, she's a boss)

Yes but being called a count or fgt on here are both bannable offenses. So is calling someone the N word.

I don't know nurse or why people may not like her. Maybe she is annoying, IDK.

I'll never understand how grown adults can get so upset over someone on a web site calling them a name. Enough to tattle on them to get them banned. Come on, that's all I'm saying.
