Well at my house my wife is perfect and can do no wrong, so I come here to my refuge where I can be my perfect self.

I enjoy cooking. But when I cook, it is a major production. Go big or go home. She does the everyday stuff. I do all the outdoor cooking. It works well.

dont think for a second that all these people are cooking legit meals with more than 3 ingredients
I cook legit meals every night, but yeah, I do keep it simple
usually just roasted veggies and a roasted or grilled protein
I cook the more time consuming stuff on the weekends

Same here. Sunday is usually pretty elaborate, and it gets simpler throughout the week until leftovers on Thursday.

I don't know how women who can't cook can live with themselves. I'm not talking a gourmet chef or anything. It's really not that hard to read a fricking recipe.

What does working have to do with cooking? Work til 4. Plenty of time to cook.

In my case it isn't that she can't, I just enjoy it. Why let her do something I enjoy?

There is a difference. If you enjoy it, by all means, do it. But if you couldn't or weren't available, could she do more than nuke a TV dinner?

She doesn't work ALL day and claims she doesn't have time, but I do work all day and apparently I do have the time.

Barely. She can run a crock pot

barely
but I'm sure she would learn eventually

I think this also. It's just a matter of practice. I'm better at cooking than she is because I have more practice.

Well, to both of you, I hope she's at least really good in bed.
My stepdaughters mother doesn't cook either. They eat A LOT of microwave stuff and out. I feel sorry for her.

If I am not around why care if she can cook?

I cook. I enjoy it. I work all day. I make better meals on the weekend though.
Most women can't cook nowadays. this aint the 50s.

You'd be surprised. I gave a friend a crock pot recipe and she couldn't figure out why it didn't come out right. Who knew I had to put "stir ingredients" into the instructions?

Well, I meant if you were getting home late or some horrible accident, god forbid, mangled your arms.
