I ask because mine does and I dislike it. It's a waste of a wall and ruins the flow of the whole bathroom.

But if you also have a high ceiling it becomes a fart echo chamber. Personally, I like to sound proof the space with eggcrate bedding so the fart dies out like a scream in space

No, and I hate when I stay somewhere that has the toilet in a tiny damn closet. I need some space.
And if you ever spend time in a wheelchair or have some other mobility issue, it will make it harder to maneuver onto the toilet if it's crammed in a closet.

Yes. i dont ever turn the light on. Nothing better and more relaxing than waking up in the morning, closing the door and taking a shite in total darkness.
