Derive the equation: white + silence = violence. Show your work.
Assume:
"snitches get stitches"; therefore:
silence = violence + black
black = -white
silence = voilence - white
Rearranging:
white + silence = violence

Anything a white person does equals more violence for other races. Duh.

I have this half-white half-black friend on Facebook who was making these really awkward posts last year in the leadup to the election. She was basically calling out the white side of her family that wasn't "liking" her anti-Trump posts often enough.
I think that was the first time that I saw the phrase "white silence = violence". It was really awkward and wonderfully awesome at the same time. I get the impression that her white grandfather is not a fan of his daughter's choice in baby daddy. I felt bad for the grandmother on the white side of the family tree because it was painfully obvious that she was torn between not wanting to piss off her husband by "liking" that SJW bullshite and not upsetting her granddaughter. The white grandma would like all of this girl's posts except for the BLM and anti-Trump ones.
I was disappointed that she stopped posting political stuff after Trump won because I was pretty excited about some epic schadenfreude.

The last thing these people want is white people to stand up and stop being silent. They got only a small taste of it when Trump was elected.

Technically if you see something you know to be wrong and do not speak up then you are committing a sin of omission. Legally, this only has consequences under very specific circumstances.
However, no silence does not mean the same thing as violence.

My my my what a sad state we live in. Why would you phrase the silent majority as violent? Just because we don't agree does not predispose us to violence. It is another race baiting attempt to solicit ignorance by yourself and anyone with that mind set.

White silence, a followup book to the excellent White Noise by Don DeLillo.

Someone please elaborate on this. My simple mind cannot wrap around this equation.
It's just another simple phrase for simple mined people to blame whitey.

I just sit back and watch them act like animals. Sometimes I laugh, sometimes I count my ammo inventory.
