Does anyone personally know somebody that believes the BR flood was done on purpose?

I met a girl today who absolutely believes this and was stunned. She claimed it there was no way it rained enough to cause it and that the powers behind the scene were trying to cut down the population. Do these people actually exist? The pure stupidity was mind blowing

I met a guy that was selling his home and moving his wife to Idaho because he thinks the election of Donald Trump signals the end times . Seriously. I met that guy and heard his whole theory. I just nodded politely. The funny thing was he said it like it's self evident.

yes, there were blacks who claimed there were hoses that connected to their sewers, and water was pumped out of those hoses and flooded their areas.

You haven't noticed a large influx of conspiracy nuts since Trump was elected? Normally I wouldn't correlate a president's election and people posting on a message board but it's crazy how the most diehard Trump supporters believe in the craziest conspiracies.
I'm sure it also goes the same way for the libs, but not many post here so I can't really comment.
