How do you like it?
Would you buy another one?
Do they have issues I should know about?
We've own a Tahoe for years and really enjoyed the GM product with the room, ride and 3rd row.
thanks

Going over train tracks without cracking the rented rims is the hardest part of ownership.

Quite a few black guys on this board, someone will be along shortly to answer your questions.

Same GM junk as your Tahoe. Just a bigger engine and better transmission.

I owned an 08 EXT.
Bulletproof drivetrain, best MPG and power in its class, best seats, best headlights on any production vehicle.
Minor QC issues; door handles and locks broke frequently, poor UI with phones.
Overall, excellent vehicle.

I'd go Denali over Escalade. Mostly same options, but not as flashy. The 6.2 is what's really important anyway.

Nah, there's way more differences than that.
Lights, suspension, a few different options.
Biggest difference is the engine, unless you can now get the 6.2 in the Tahoes.

I wish I did. Mine is much older, but the greatest vehicle ever

Good point.
No HIDs and air suspension, I don't think.

A performance shop in Houston recently installed a custom grind comp cam in a Escalade. Sounded like pure sex.
Other than that, I have nothing.

Buying a 2015 loaded Escalade will run you on average $80k. Purchasing a certified used 2012 model (low end of the scale in this situation) with moderate miles with similar features ranges from $52-$60k depending on the overall condition. I personally would prefer not to spend $60k on a used product, but a much better route than going the new route and absorbing the depreciation yourself. Several colleagues who have gone the pre-used route seem very satisfied with the vehicle. If you are set on purchasing a luxury SUV, from my experience, the Cadillac has considerable lower maintenance cost compared to the competition.

Yeah, no HIDs, and I'm not sure on the air suspension to be honest. I know that was an option on the previous gen Tahoes though, so no telling.
My brother's 03 Tahoe had the air ride, that shite is expensive when it breaks.

I have a 2016 with peanut butter guts. Satellite, bulletproof doors/windows, etc etc etc.
It's a decent vehicle.

That would be engine to do that, plenty of bottom end.
Why you'd want the fastest Escalade on the planet beats me, but whatever.
Maybe he has a neighbor with a supercharged Rover that he wants to piss off.

The owner of my company just bough a brand new 95k escalade and it is an awesome vehicle.

Had a couple of Suburbans, they have more in common than any other vehicles on the road. Maybe you'd get more information if you widened the question to include Tahoes & Suburbans.
I wouldn't consider a Escalade as they look too pimp-y for me bone stock.

You'd also be getting a previous gen. The new ones are much better with phone and UI.

Magnetic Ride suspension is what you'll get with the 12-14 Escalade. Much better than the Denali.
