For a little car that looks pretty sharp. I don't think I have been in any Mazda in my life though so I can't give any feedback on it. Good luck!

I've been looking at the diesels but I'm kinda turned off with all of the recent recalls.

Just know that if you choose to level the truck that puts a lot of stress on the upper ball joints and you have to watch them for wear. I have a 09 Silverado. Just had to replace both my upper control arms. Had about 65K miles w/ the level on. Also wore out my wheel bearings on 1 side. Replaced everything myself for around $300 bucks plus cost of alignment. I was aware of this before putting the level on so I was able to spot it pretty early. If you're not a do it yourselfer this could get really expensive, not to mention dangerous. I got 65K out of the factory ones so I was OK w/ that. Also, my engine burns a good bit of oil d/t active fuel management (cylinder deactivation). Had to have that fixed under warranty. Still burns too much for my liking but Chevy claims it's with in specs. Truck still Runs great. Got 78K on her. Still love this truck. Gonna drive it a few more years.

i just traded in my 2010 sierra on a f-150 lariat. The lariat is leaps and bounds more advanced than the sierra was in 2010, i cannot compare to the 2014. I bought the sierra new and it was slowly falling apart. in the four years i owner it, gm had to replace the following; both rear tail lights, door handles, tranny dip stick, dash board due to cracking in half, a/c blower motor, the rear speakers blew up 3 times. not to mention one lifter lost is oil pressure every night so it sounded like a diesel every morning when it first started up. i hope i had a lemon and the rest are better, but i was not happy with mine.

The ford's interior was nicer in those years, but after riding in the 2014 z71 loaded out it is nicer then the 2011-12 ford's. I haven't checked out the brand new fords so I can't compare to those. It sounds like you just had bad luck with your truck. A guy I hunt with just sent back his 2nd brand new f250 I don't know the details, but he was having serious issues. It happens sometimes even though when you spend that kind of money it shouldn't.

I work at a gmc dealership. They're frickin bad arse man.

How does the backseat compare in size to the F150 Lariat? I know previously the F150 Lariat Crew Cab had a huge backseat area where the Sierra's didn't. I've heard the 2014 Sierra's now have a large backseat as well. Can you or anyone clarify?
