My wife's body temperature is so high when she sleeps that I won't get within a foot of her. If she snuggles up to me, I wake up sweating and get pissed off.

She was so hot one morning that I took an infrared thermometer and scanned her head. She woke up screaming thinking it was gun.

I've woken up to laughter a few times only to find my SO sitting in the corner with her knees to her chest staring towards the closet. It's happened twice and it freaks me the frick out. I yell at her to stop it and it startles her and wakes her up. She has no recollection.

Mine will start fighting the air and screaming bloody murder. Absolutely freaks the frick out. Each time it scares me because I immediately think something's wrong. Then I realize she's just having a nightmare.

One night it was really bad and I couldn't wake her up so I tried bear hugging her to restrain her since she was hitting and swinging at me. That didn't work and only made things worse until it woke her up. When I wrapped my arms around her, she freaked out even more and really RRALLY started screaming. Since I had just come from a dead sleep I was still kinda out of it and it scared the living shite outta me too to the point of screaming. My screaming made hers worse.
For a few seconds we were laying in bed at 2:00am screaming and scared shitless but didn't know what for. It took us an hour to stop laughing at each other.

I have had sexsomnia meaning I will start having sex while still asleep. It has happened with numerous partners and numerous times over the years. No clue why it happens.

You know that jerk you do every now and then when you are dozing off? Well when my wife does it, it is so violent it damn near moves the bed away from the wall! And of course I'm at that half awake, half asleep state and it scares the living shite out of me!

yea, I would recommend shouting at her to "wake up it's a nightmare". Or you could mess with her and start saying, "Step into the light, Carol Anne!"

My ex-husband used to tell me stories of how I'd seem to be trying to scream while I was sound asleep and that always led to me talking in my sleep, but he said my voice sounded totally different and the language I was speaking was Latin. fricking freaks me out bc I never remembered any of this and I have absolutely no knowledge of the Latin language.
