Does any dealership in the world have a “good” service department?

I've had good luck where I bought my vehicle. Most of the techs and the service guy are enthusiasts.
I've also had the worst customer experience of my life at Service Chevrolet. They tried to swindle my gf and wouldn't bring her car to us. Things got pretty heated that day.

My Subaru dealer had an excellent service department for the first few years, but as they continued to grow and sell more cars it basically just became like every other shitty service department. A shame really. In the early days it had a nice mom & pop sort of vibe to it.

Why are you going to a dealership for anything but warranty/recall service?

There's a respectable Hyundai one on the Coast here. Also had good experiences with the Hyundai and Kia service departments in Hattiesburg.

If you are in Ms, can’t help you. My relatives own dealerships. He’s got one guy that can fix just about anything.
One of the better in BTR, he can answer most problems over the phone.

Talking with a friend today, they have a Hyundai, it’s losing a qt every 1,000 miles. What a POS.

Our local Buick dealer was excellent when my in laws were ill and befuddled. My FIL was especially bad off and had backed into a tree at the local Crispy Cream (He was an ex-cop, so it was expected). His wife was going down hill rapidly. The car was at the Buick dealer for body work and, at our request, they explained to him that certain parts were going to be slow arriving and they'd have to keep his car for three more weeks.
By the time the car was 'ready', he was a bit more grounded.
I considered that excellent service.

Every MINI service department I've used has been good.
