Actually i'm just trying to get a feel of what the timeline should be on the healing.
Should have been healed by now. It isn't. If you don't follow up with your doc, this may not get better . . . ever. It may get worse. Much worse. For example, if you fool around and end up with CRPS as a result, you will have bought the kind of long term neuropathic pain that can disable you from even wearing a sock much less a shoe. That could occur regardless of the bones ever actually mending.

Is there a possibility it could get better if you just do what you've been doing? Maybe. Considering the crippling alternatives though, I certainly would not take that chance.

Yeah I'm in my third week the sternum being separated is the most concerning. If I'm not careful I might be in for some surgery. The ribs are going to hurt no matter what. When I take a deep breath a gap develops between my ribs and my sternum where it's detached

Seriously, this may be the dumbest medicine-related thread on this site.

I'm not going to be coy and you don't deserve 3rd person.

You are a fricking moron.

There is a reason the doctor gave you that timeline. There is a reason he went to medical school.

Why even go to the doctor in the first place if you were just going to disregard his plan and recommendations?

Seriously, do you recognize how fricking dumb your actions are?

Why don't you just call that dentist and have him let his kid zoom him on over in the kids 911 and tape it up? Probably get to you pretty fast.

All bullshite aside that dude talking about giving his kid those cars was sickening. Go get the kid an old truck and let him drive that for a couple of years

I had two screws inserted in my right ankle and I was running on it less than 9 weeks later.

But I'm a dumbass when told to take it easy.

Looks like I need me a full-time-Doc on standby

There's a lot of shite you can frick with, but your ankle is not something id do on my own.

This. I had the same injury and you HAVE to go by the rules or you will regret it the rest of your life. It must heal and you must do physical therapy.
