Do you wash new clothes before wearing?

Just the excess of chemicals is a good enough reason to wash them.

I like to get whatever dyes and chemicals out of there regardless. It has nothing to do with anyone having tried it on.

Normally i just soak a rag in bleach and throw it in the dryer to get the wrinkles out

I do. It's more symbolic than anything. I want to wash the 3rd world off of my 1st world clothes.

Everything except socks. I don't mind wearing socks straight off the shelf but that's it.

I do, and my wife thinks I'm weird because of it. And that was before I worked for a company that imported a bunch of stuff from overseas and I saw how everything was just thrown in a box and put on a boat.

Yes. Read an article once on how many people touch items in it's development from the fabric, construction and shipping.

I washed my Exofficio's before wearing them. Got a great deal on Amazon thanks to this board.
