3/4 of America is now completely incapable of communicating without text, email, facebook, instagram, or twitter. People cant even talk to their own neighbor without a blog, much less organize an armed movement
the government would squash that before it even got started

The closest we will come will be states refusing to abide or recognize new federal laws. More of a revolt than a war. We almost saw it with the Gay Marriage issue but people realized how backwards they seemed being so dead set against a harmless issue like that.
We will see more people like Judge Roy Moore in Alabama grandstanding as the demographics continue to change and the federal government gets more liberal.

It's hard to say what the future will bring, but we are in a pretty stable period of peace right now. It will take a pretty catastrophic event and/or a slow deterioration. Both are pretty much inevitable. Nothing lasts forever. But things seem pretty good for now. One has to consider that "ever" is a very long time. The U.S. won't even last for any measurable portion of "ever."
