I remember the day I pulled up at ny dad's office and realized that it was a huge building and he had the director parking spot. We had a very modest house and cars compared to friends but it was a "wait a mniute" moment.

I had a friend back in the day who was absolutely loaded and he would always purposely leave his AtM receipts out on “accident”

I’m not friends with him anymore because we live in different parts of the country but it was always so obvious that he did it to showoff

Our financial picture is between me, my wife and our CPA. We’re not balling or anything but I’d rather family and friends not try to spend our money for us.
