I've given blood twice. The first time things went fine. The second time they drained blood from me way too fast. I ended up on a coach, feet elevated, ice packs on my head. I'll never donate again. The only way I'll give blood (for family or friends) is if a nurse or doctor takes my blood.
Yeah, I haven't given blood in a few years and they don't have my current number.

The last time I gave blood, the lady put the needle in my vein, turned around and the tubing got caught in her stomach and it ripped the needle out of my arm and blood started squirting out. I freaked out and then she went to try and put the needle back IN THE SAME hole it was in the first time because she couldn't get a good vein on the other arm. I was like NEVER AGAIN.

All we need now is TigahRag to jump in here with his usual schtick.

Do you donate?

I recently got my driver's license renewed. They axed me if I wanted to put my blood type on my new license. It may have always been an option, but I don't recall ever being asked before.

I have donated ~5 gallons, so far.

No clue. I think I'm O, based on my mom's fading memory and odds. + or - unknown.

Yeah, that's how they get me. I'm O- but I'm also negative for something like makes my blood the Dom Perignon of blood for infant transfusions.

At 7 and a half weeks, my phone lights up from the center looking to book me ASAP when my 8 weeks are up.

Rag is still banned for trolling the food board with me. I've been let back due to persistence. He needs to be as well

You've got my vote but how in the hell do you troll the Food Board?

I can see poking the anthills and trolling the MSB, Rant or Poliboard but I wouldn't figure you could get the Food Board that heated. Did y'all say that Kraft cheddar was the best cheese or something?

I'm O negative and both parents and sisters are also O negative. I think we're about 5% or so of the population?

We need an O- board. That way, I can post only with the elite and avoid the riff raff.

I only donated blood once. The needle thing was pretty freaky to start with, but also my arm was really sore for several days maybe almost a week and it was painful to pick up anything with any weight to it. Never been back. Don't know if it was just because they screwed up taking the blood.

They did bug me for a while to go back, but I just kept ignoring them. They eventually gave up.

Yeah, I'd say they screwed up.
