I always feel like people who lie about things like cancer will eventually end up getting it in reality.

I have a cousin who lied to her mom for a couple of years about being in god damn college. And it wasn't like she had gone off to school or anything. Nope, she "went" to LSU and her mom lives in BTR. I think she went for a semester or two, then just quit going, but she kept pretending like she was still there. She eventually got busted, but I don't know how she ever thought she was going to pull it off in the long run...yunno, never getting that degree or anything.

I know several. A family member tells stories that happened to me about herself...in front of me.

Know quite a few guys who lie about past athletic ability. Some about hooking up with women.

Well, about 6 months ago her dad was diagnosed with cancer, so you may be on to something there....

I dated a bitch who lied about having terminal, inoperable, brain cancer. She strung the whole group of friends along, pretty much the whole Houston bicycle racing community, for about 2 years.

She was finally discovered by me and a friend of hers when during a conversation about lying bitch we realized none of her stories added up.

Who in their right mind thinks this will end well?? Crazy

Yes I know a few and I can't even bring myself to pretending that I'm interested in what they have to say in conversation. One guy I'm thinking of in particular I will literally turn my back on him mid sentence/mid thought of some bullshite he's lying about and just walk away to go talk to somebody else. I'm seriously fighting off just exploding one day and telling him how fricking stupid he looks and that nobody believes a single thing he says, and to top it all off everybody makes fun of him behind his back comparing his outrageous lies.

That would be an epic move to make. You would be worshipped by all who are tired of feigning interest. However, I don't think it would fix the problem.

A coworker of mine. It's quite hilarious. He's arguably the most interesting man in the world.

Had a roommate once whose wedding I was even in, and I still have no idea what his dad exactly does due to him fabricating his dad's profession a ridiculous number of times.

How many times do I have to tell you that my dad joined the International Recon Rangers after he retired from the NFL and the CIA??? I didn't lie about that!!! You just got confused!

All kidding aside, someone in my extended family meets all the criteria of a pathological liar. She can't even keep her bs straight anymore. Her lies just become bigger and more dramatic as she gets cornered in them. She seems to be determined to alienate everyone in her family, and no one has any idea what to do about it other than avoid her. Calling her out doesn't do any good, because she won't own up to anything. It really is a huge problem, and it would be very interesting if she wasn't causing so much damage.

One of my best friends is. He's more like a brother, but we have drifted further and further apart because of it. Every relationship he gets in last almost exactly a year, then the bitch finds out all his lies and ends it. It's pretty funny to watch the pattern repeat itself over and over again

I had a roommate who is a pathological liar. This dude lied about shite that he didn't need to lie about. Is this a mental illness? He's been confronted about it numerous times and nothing changes. I randomly ran across this paragraph and it described this guy dead on.

Yes. He would lie about everything, even the stupidest shite that he didn't need to lie about. Also had a knack for talking shite about everyone behind their backs and even trying to instigate arguments between other friends. Barely any of us hang out with him anymore. He had some really bad self esteem problems and probably will for his whole life.

lol ya, you right about that. I can never believe how gullible these girls are. Sometimes I feel like I should tell them just how much BS they are being fed, but I'm no cockblock
