I do and its just weird/sad. This girl I know died and her kids write messages on balloons and send them up to her in heaven and stuff. I am about to unfollow it because it is just sad.

That would bum me out to see that.

I do, couple of them. I'm sentimental. One is an old friend who died 5 years ago. His wife posts on it maybe once a year. The other died a couple months ago. His wife posts something on it every week.

I know a guy who died in a 4-wheeler accident. His family and close friends still post on his Wall every so often..."Your niece is getting so big! Miss you and love you always!" Very touching and sad.

I had a professor/mentor of mine as a facebook friend. He recently passed away from lung cancer and his wife changed his facebook profile to hers. kinda of weird.

I still have a really good friend who drowned about a year and a half ago. It's weird when the birthday's pop up. I usually just say something to the effect of I miss you, because I do.

I agree, it would feel weird to unfriend them.

Yes, my niece who killed herself last Christmas. Family and friends post on her facebook daily and it is heartbreaking. She was such a beautiful girl and everyone is filled with guilt and grief. I have never posted. I will never understand where her head was at. Her tumblr account was a horror show of videos of her cutting herself among other things. I will never know how everyone missed it all.

Do you live in St. Francisville?

My wife passed in January. I don't, but I notice people will either post on her wall or tag her once or twice a week. It's not how I choose to cope, but if it helps others, it doesn't bother me. Once, about a month ago, Facebook popped up saying she liked someones status. I don't know if it was a Facebook glitch or if someone had her password. It felt really strange sending a PM to my wife's page, to say if anyone was logging into it, to stop.
