Do you have a concealed carry permit? How often do you carry?

Planning to get my permit in the next couple of weeks.
I grew up around guns, currently have a few and I enjoy shooting, but I've never had a chance to get my carry permit. Under Tennessee law you can keep a gun in your car without a permit (and I do), but it's not a Constitutional Carry state, so I'll need a permit to carry.
I'm not sure how often I'll actually carry because it's not always practical, or lawful (can't have any alcohol while carrying), but I'd like to have a permit nonetheless.
Do you have a permit? And if so, how often do you carry?

Yep. Most of the time in my vehicle which you can do in LA without one. At least a few times per week on my person.

Being able to travel to 40 states with your gun in your car is worth the price of admission.

One of the few states LA doesn't have reciprocity with.
I got pulled over in NM with 3 guns in my car. Cops were pretty cool about it.

That's a good point. I've never even considered removing the gun from my car while traveling through other states. Probably not a smart move.

Yes...pretty much only in my vehicle.
TN has the castle law, so I really don't even need the permit. But it helps when I travel to other states (red ones, anyway).

What do you carry? And how?
I can see it being convenient in the fall or winter when wearing a coat, but where the hell am I going to conceal if I'm wearing a button-down and khakis? I might as well just wear a hip holster at that point.

Yep. Carry daily.
Carry a S&W Shield and used to use a Alien Gear IWB holster at 5 o'clock. Found it too hard to keep it concealed when leaning over etc and shirts had to be too big. Switched to IWB appendix carry and I can carry without printing with a well fitting thin t-shirt.

During the summer I'll usually have an IWB holster with maybe khaki shorts or jeans. It doesn't really show. I use an aliengear holster mostly with my Glock 43 but I have another smaller holster that is faster and easier to put on.
