If by "weird" you mean "completely unnecessary", then yes.

I'd be okay if they wanted to do a Brokeback Mountain remake with an all-female cast...just no dykes, please.

Who gives a frick. Once they realize that these movies aren't profitable, they won't make more. And if they are profitable, they made the right business decision. For as much as people on here complain about their rights being abused, people sure do complain a lot about the entertainment industry of all doing what they want with their property.

I don't have a problem with female ghostbusters, but the movie that's coming out looks shitty. That's why I'm not planning to go see it. Other than that, remakes with female casts don't bother me.

I think I will try out for a part in the Oceans 11 remake and file a discrimination lawsuit when I am told no. The amount will have to be large since this will have been my breakout role and lead to even better parts.

Hamlet is a 1921 German film adaptation of the William Shakespeare play of the same name starring Danish silent film actress Asta Nielsen. It was directed by Svend Gade and Heinz Schall.

In this interpretation, inspired by Dr. Edward P. Vining's book The Mystery of Hamlet, Hamlet is born female and disguised as a male to preserve the lineage.

Mad Max could have been so much better if they didn't dick it up with all that shite towards the end.

Because just like a lot of art, fans take a certain amount of ownership in it.

That's like asking Cowboys fans why they have a right to bitch about Jerry Jones when he owns the team.

They'll end up getting in a huge argument over what they should wear for the heist and disband before they steal anything.

why did the movies have to be all men to begin with? is it conceivable that women could want to rob a bank together?

or fight ghosts?
or do anything men would do?

i don't understand the question.

Its not about whats happened its about taking a movie thats not even that old in oceans 11 and remaking it with women bc thats what feminists do. Ghostbusters is 30 years old thats a remake for the sake of remaking it

The word you're looking for is "contrived," not weird.
