Yep. Usually do it while traveling for work. Better than sitting in some hotel all night.

They had evidence that statistically, people who go to movies alone have more issues. They presented that to the city and they bought it. Its annoying cuz now it takes 20$ to watch a movie

married with two toddlers so if i want to see anything alone is usually the only option...and it has to be a late showing once everyone is tucked in for bed.

I'm without a SO 67% of the year plus I travel for my own job. I do all kinds of things alone.
Always find it weird that it's even a discussion or thing people find worth talking about. Life would suck if I only went out in public when I had someone to go with.
That said, I have been to the movies 3 times in the past 6 years. I don't really like it that much. I have to be dying to see a certain movie and really itching to do something.

When I went to movies on a regular basis, I usually went alone.
