Do you ever get deja vu?

I used to get it more than I do now. I have experienced a few groundhog days for sure. What do you think causes it? Have you experienced it?

It's deja vu all over again.

All the time. I feel like the reality I'm experiencing has been played out in a dream, usually more than once.
Good thread for once, oke.

We've done this one b4 recently , loc...
Regardless, noticed it's usually happening by remembering a dream I had recently that's synching up with real life

All the time. I've heard a lot different theories about it. The one I here most is how your mind tricks you into thinking it was a memory. But I don't believe it. I personally think it has to do with your dreams. Dreams are crazy. Its like realistic projections in a world thats not real, but is real at the same time. Anyone know about studies linked between dreams and Deja vu? Dreams gotta tell some sort of secret, right?

Studies aren't there yet. Have researched personal accounts of peoples' philosophies to compare to mine. Used to keep a dream journal- after waking up best time to remember.
Sometimes it's stress, etc manifesting in symbols...other times, there are divine messages encoded or straight up given to one in dreams.

I'm reading a rebeloke thread with zero downvotes. This is definitely not deja vu.

Sure as shite, I used to all the time. It was like once I got caught up in time, I knew what was coming. A couple times I had told people around me what was coming before hand. Really. It hasn't happen in a few years now. I don't dream anymore now.

Didn't you just do this exact thread?

It's a brain glitch. Basically you're misinterpreting the present as a memory. If you notice, during a deja vu you can't really predict ahead of time what's coming next, only just after it happens, does it seem familiar. I think the stimuli you're experiencing take a different pathway to the brain than normal.

I hadn't had it in a long time.
I got it yesterday before I went under for surgery (before I got any drugs), it creeped me out.
