but you can't do anything about it?

My wife hates that I borrow Ted Nugent's phrase of: "Eat what you want and die like a man."

I'm not obese for those about to call me a fatty.

That's great and all, but you might have a different view you're on dialysis.

I'm 5'9", 190, mostly in my belly at 44. I don't use the motorized carts at Walmart.

Blood pressure would be the more immediate issue I would believe

Eat smart
Exercise more
Drink less
Stress less

It has taken me far too long to begin living by those 4 points.

There is plenty.

Eating a keto diet is pretty damn easy for me. Can eat pretty much any kind of meat and any fatty food you want.

I got diagnosed with Type II diabetes earlier this year. A few weeks earlier, I got put on blood pressure medication.
I felt like a real dipshit, because a couple of years earlier, a doctor told me "If you don't lose some weight, you're going to end up on blood pressure and diabetes medication." (I'm not a fat arse, but I should lose 20 or so pounds)
My diet is pretty good - I eat a lot of vegetables and try to avoid unhealthy stuff. My problem is if there's food around, I'm going to eat. For example, I'll bring lunch to work, then I'll get an email that there's leftover pizza from a department meeting in the break room and I'll go eat two slices.
The Metformin helps a lot and side effects aren't too bad. And I've gotten better about avoiding "trash meals" like Albertson's chicken tenders and scarfing down leftover Papa John's. I'll just eat a salad and a cup of soup, or a salad with some leftover chicken, fish or steak on top of it.
The key is to just avoid the bad stuff that isn't great. Eat a salad instead of Albertson's fried chicken. If someone brings a Wal-Mart birthday cake to work, don't eat that shite. Now if someone bring a Gambino's cake, that's what you splurge on.

And your wife probably says to her friends, "If your husband is fat just get some BBC."
